Starting Saturday night (yesterday), I am not receiving Sold, Ship Now emails even though I have gotten some orders since that time. I checked my notification preferences and everything looks the same. They’re not in spam or trash, either. I don’t depend on them to find out I have orders, but I like to get them anyway.
I’m still getting them as of a couple hours ago.
We are still getting them also.
Sadly, not many, but it appears that I need sales to get them…
Wow. I don’t normally check those, so looked to see if they’re coming in.
Three in the last few minutes! (a pretty good percentage of a normal days’ sales)
Coming in fine here. And my best Sunday ever (Sundays generally are 0-1 sale). Maybe I’ve gotten @dwat0870’s sales.
I did receive one of them on Saturday night.
So this morning I am finally getting the emails for orders. I did not, however, receive an email about a message from a buyer, and when I looked at that message in Seller Central, it said my email provider bounced it back when Amazon tried to send. I did, however, get an email about my reply to the message.
I’m also getting other emails from Amazon, such as one this morning about updates to Seller Fulfilled Prime.
So I’m not sure what to think. I’ve had the same email provider for about 25 years.
This may be unrelated but there was an OTP issue today on my end. Still using text until I close that other account being held up by a single unit of inventory…
Anyway, I generally get booted every 7-10 days and have to sign back in. Always get an OTP instantly. Didn’t happen today - 3 different tries with my cell. Tried to get a call back which also didn’t work.
Somehow, my home phone is associated with the account as well. Must have added that at some point. That call back worked and I got back in.
Then, I went in to check the contact info / security info for the account and got prompted again for OTP, at which point, I got 4 all at once. None of them worked.
So tried both call back #'s and none of that worked either.
In the meantime, I think Verizon thinks that these texts / calls are junk because I never set that # that the OTP’s always come from up as a contact. I did that and then requested another OTP text and it worked.
After I did that, the voicemail popped up from an hour ago with the OTP.
Very strange. Haven’t experienced something like that before.
Seems like a verizon thing vs. some sort of contact glitch like you are describing but it’s an odd coincidence…
Figured I would share this heads up since it’s something we haven’t had happen before.
Set up Google authenticator for OTP and you won’t have this issue while waiting to close the account.
This does make it sound like there’s a glitch on your email carrier’s end at this time. It sounds like they were holding the emails for some reason. Can you reach out to them and see what might have triggered the bounces?
Everything seems to be back to normal, so for now I’m just going to consider it a temporary glitch and hope that’s what it was.
