I don’t trust Amazon with this very much either. Too many “undeliverable” orders when Amazon is doing the delivery. Then I get hit with the return and the customer service return fee. They give you no reason why it was undeliverable. Driver just didn’t want to do it?

Another thing to watch is orders for multiples. I’ve seen many, many orders where the customer ordered 2 or more units, then all of them were returned. OK, that’s fine but instead of processing 1 return for the 1 order of multiple units, they created a separate return for each unit. Then they charge me the return customer service fee for each unit instead of the fee for the single order. This might not be suspicious if the returns were done at separate times (customer changed their mind and returned more units later) but the return times are all exactly the same.

At the end of the day, this kind of stuff is cost of using FBA. I understand that but this seems like fee abuse.

Good Luck,

TJB

The rate of misdeliveries amongst myself and nearby neighbors is quite high. Fortunately we are all friendly and know each other so we actually provide the last leg of the delivery! Many buyers don’t live in similar communities or products are misdelivered further away.

I see these FBA undeliverables and costs as a seller too and don’t like the lax attitude that allows them.
