Anyone else get the option to choose partner carrier for inbound FBA?

I created an inbound FBA shipment and was shocked to see a new section at the very end which gave me the option of choosing which partner carrier I want to ship it with. The carrier I would have chosen was actually the cheapest option so I didn’t go any further with it, just curious if anyone else has seen this and tried to change carriers?

That’s interesting. I created plans this weekend to finish up our Q4 load-up and that wasn’t there.

Nice to see this may be coming because there are 2 (of many) that we would like to avoid in the future. With that said, we normally get Amazon Freight who has been great for us. Results may vary…

I thought maybe I was dreaming when I saw it, so I went back and created a dummy shipment this morning just to see. Sure enough, at the very end of the process it showed me the cheapest partner carrier as default, then gave me pricing for other partner carrier options if I wanted to change.

Just to clarify, this is for LTL shipments. I haven’t tried parcel shipments yet but it’s really the LTL carriers that I’ve had issues with. Fingers crossed this is something they keep.

Ya, I have seen a window pop up with different pickup dates and carriers from time to time in the last few months. In my experience it has been around holidays or on a Friday pickup schedule where there is a glitch in the matrix or something.
