Anyone else moved from 2 to 1 day handling time?

Amazon has been updating the excel templates. You have to follow the requirements of the excel template that you have downloaded. We explained it on this post …

There is a grouping of attributes at the beginning that will be under one color up in the heading. The needed attributes will depend on the excel file being used, but the first grouping by color in the header are the ones that are needed for that excel template.

Remember to select PARTIAL UPDATE as the “Record Action” (or on the older excel files it is called “UPDATE DELETE”).

You do not need to use every attribute available. There should be a tab labeled “Data Definitions”. Look at that tab for “Ingrediants” to see the instructions and any character limit for the attribute.

I, too, got the “You got borged into AHT” email this morning. Back when we were initially threatened with AHT, I went through each of 1600 listings to make sure everything had 2-day handling, and then published. Ever since then, I wait an extra day to buy mailing labels (to please the customer!) and all for naught.

I’m so pissed, I think that on September 30 I’ll go through my entire catalog and change handling time to 3 days.

got it and had to laugh, they moved me to a default of 1 day a long time ago.

@primetime, I forgot that this is something that changed after the original post.

I tested to be sure - “A value is required in the “quantity” field because there are values in dependent fields.: [handling-time = “2”].”

This really s*cks though, because I hate just about any “quantity” edit after the initial upload.

Thanks for pointing it out!

So testing out the Listing Loader, which is more complicated these days … and getting varying results so far.

SKU (A), Fulfillment Channel (AG), Handling Time (AI), Your Price (AL), Inventory Always Available (AK)(set to “Disabled”)

These fields worked with no ability to even enter “Quantity”
NOTE: SKU had a “1” Quantity at upload

HOWEVER … this set the Quantity to “0” even though nothing can be set for Quantity if you choose the Inv. Always Avail.!!

I thought I posted this in the public group. @SAS_Moderator if you want to move the thread so it’s more visible, that’s fine by me, go ahead. If it helps someone so much the better.

This thread is public. We made the mistake of referencing a post that was in Handmade section of SAS upthread. If you are not in Homemade section, then you got the error that @Primetime received when trying to go to the link. We came back with a quoted reply of the linked post in Handmade so that the info showed here.

Yes, I was referring to my post in Handmade about the spreadsheet uploads. I thought that Handmade section was public, but apparently not. What I was trying to say was if you want to move that thread in the private Handmade section to a more public space, please do as I have no problem with that, in fact that was my intention when I posted.

Thanks,

-Ana

We don’t currently have a public handmade section, but your post has been moved to the public area.
