APO FPO Military labels not presenting for download

Every time I use Buy Shipping for a military (customs - APO, FPO) label I get nothing from Amazon and have to open a case for SS to email the label pdf’s to me. Most support agents don’t know how, some say they can’t, and I point to prior cases for them to research how-to.

Is anyone else having this problem? Anything in the NSFE?* Any ideas of why? I get all other Amazon pdf’s: Buy Shipping regular labels, reports, etc.

This is not a printer problem, it is missing label files for download.

I investigated removing those from my shipping template but they are part of the expedited option and I would have to disable all expedited, which I would rather not do.

One ASIN has become popular and it is now a daily problem, so far up to 3 labels a day.

Would any NSFE participant be willing to post this there for me for mod attention? - I cannot risk being doxxed.

First thing that comes to mind is that APO FPO may be going to out of the country and require a specific label to go through that country’s customs. We haven’t had any issue but we only ship using USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate packages and all labels have been regular USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate labels.

Not sure why you can not remove APO FPO from Expedited … We do not have it as part of Expedited (professional account set up).

OK, I didn’t realize I could with the Delete link. This is what I had:

I have used ‘Delete’ to remove them.

However, I would like to ship to military locations in appreciation for their service.

We do APO FPO as part of the Standard, can set a longer transit time and charge for Priority Mail …

I actually had it available for standard and expedited. They are customs labels that aren’t coming through for download.

Do you use Amazon Buy Shipping for them?

I don’t think all military locations require the customs form, depends on the country they are in. I get some military address orders where Buy Shipping produces regular USPS labels but the problem occurs with the customs labels.

Correct

Exactly … as said above …

We are not sure there is a way to check prior to using Amazon Buy Shipping but USPS site would produce the label with customs slip if it is needed. Depending on how many you get, it might be better and quicker just to go to USPS to buy the Priority Mail label and input the tracking in Amazon and avoid the hassle of trying to get support to help with the label.

I deleted the military options from my template for now, maybe I will go back in a few days, or not. The items are Ground Advantage so I wouldn’t buy Priority. Since they are overseas destinations shipping without the Buy Shipping guarantee protection would be risky, they could arrive late.

Apparently others are not having this problem based on response to this thread.

Thank you for responding.

We have APO FPO set to 14-28 days transit … never had an issue with late.

This one got through somehow, maybe it was pending when I changed my template.
Just curious if you know why I have other options without the customs form, it should be required no matter which service is used, right?
Is this probably a programming oversight?
