So this happened today. I took a disbursement early this week - whatever was available.
And then amazon charged my account a whole bunch of fees - $3k for BFCM and ~$5K for Q4 Storage. Reducing from future balance.
Today, when I go to Request Payment, it says I am not currently eligible for disbursements:
This account is not currently eligible for On Demand Disbursement.
You cannot disburse if your available balance is zero or less.
You can only disburse if your available balance is above the minimum.
Obviously, my available balance is zero because amazon just charged me a Schitt ton. Guessing, it’s exactly what it says and it’ll return to normal tomorrow.
But since I don’t normally take disbursements early - just found it interesting.
I still have the Request Payment button telling me it’s temporary.
This just happened to my account also. I have an old, grandfathered account, with what had previously been disbursement every 24 hours.
My Funds Available (Now) column equals my Total Balance column, and the page shows zero for Account Level Reserve. And yet I get the same message you are getting when I press the Request Payment button. It has been like this for 24 hours at least.
It’s always been this way, any Amazon fees/charges are taken out of your OLDEST (eg, soonest to be paid) balance. So any fees always reduce your available balance.
Just one of the little things they do to maximize the amount of $ they can hold onto.
I still can’t request a disbursement. In fact, now there is new language when I click the button:
This account is not currently eligible for On Demand Disbursement. You cannot disburse if your available balance is zero or less. You can only disburse if your available balance is above the minimum.
I have a positive balance, with zero Account Level Reserve. So something has changed.
I am scheduled for a regular payout on December 12th, so this isn’t really a problem. Nevertheless, if I have lost “on demand” (24 hour) disbursements I will be disappointed.
