As we grow

Using Firefox

Says it is up to date

115.21.0 esr (64 bit)

That’s why I don’t use the fox; use the chrome

Hmmmm. 136.0.3 (64-bit) Is the current release. What OS are you using?

Honestly you can ignore the message, site should keep working. Don’t hate but I still have a few XP machines out there in the field (for way locked down functions) and they throw that error and still work fine

I got a browser update notice this morning on my Amazon Fire Tablet.

Hmmm, I’ll have to dig into the release notes for this mornings update.

EDIT, It appears Discourse, the software we run, uses a strange function to see if a browser is supported or not, “aspect-ratio”. If your browser doesn’t respond with an aspect ratio of your device it gives you the warning. Doesn’t mean the browser you are using won’t work though.

That IS current:

Version 115.21.0, first offered to ESR channel users on March 4, 2025
Firefox ESR 115 is now supported only on Windows 7-8.1 and macOS 10.12-10.14. Users on other operating systems should use Firefox ESR 128 instead.

Mozilla Firefox ESR (Extended Support Release) is a long-term support build of Firefox, updated roughly every 42 weeks for major changes and every 4 weeks for minor changes.

@bookwormapril did you see this? Please don’t go! :worried:

Did you all not hear, of the solution to this browser bug?

OZEMPIC

I wasn’t intending to leave, just explaining why I might disappear.

I have Windows 7 but so far Firefox seems to update itself when it pleases.

Site Update:

We have grown, and to reflect that, as of today, Sellers Ask Sellers has registered as a Delaware Corporation.

Why? Well it gives some extra Liability coverage.

The https://test.sellersasksellers.com/tos and https://test.sellersasksellers.com/privacy have been updated to reflect this. NOTHING ELSE has changed in these documents (there were a few errors in the PP that I have corrected).

No first born clauses added, no gotchas. These are honestly both boiler plate documents we use to Cover Our Butts and comply with all relevant rules and regulations.

Update Aug 2026. Go ahead and open a private browser and go to google. Search for seller forum. See what you get!

How many members are we up to now?

Now remember the most important metric of any forum is likes, and we have 302,000+ Likes!

And almost 200 of them aren’t from @Dogtamer!

Engagement is important too.

I will do my part by continuing to post my Wordle results and provide movie quote responses and quips to serious discussions.

Dogtamer, do your part and give this post a thumbs up.

I don’t always click likes … but, when I do, I click as @Dogtamer .

We have grown so much that I am no longer able to read every new thread that is created. I was able to do that up until about a month ago but now it would take me too much time so I have to pick and choose which threads I read daily. Sad for me but good for the forum. Maybe the NSFE wasn’t a bad thing as this is a much better venue for sellers.

I don’t know how I missed your post for four dadgum days, my friend - but somehow, I managed it. Mea culpa.

I ‘did the needful’ just now.

So overall users aren’t a metric I am willing to die on a hill for. Users come, users go. I could also turn off the spam controls and let everyone sign up and post to get real impressive numbers (appears to be the SOP for another forum), but I prefer Quality over Quantity.

Last 7 days shows 85 active (reading and posting) users. That’s not a bad number at all.
