Audio Book Sponsored Products Advertising (HOW?!?)

Any audio book advertisers out there?

I have been working with a book publisher for well over a year and have had no issue with advertising their book.

However, more recently, an audio book was launched. We want to advertise this as well.

However, I cannot add this in the regular campaign, ASIN does not appear.

I have chatted with Amazon twice regarding this issue. Both times I have been told to open VENDOR CENTRAL account to advertise the audio book.

This just goes not make sense to me at all, considering this is a digital product.

Any information would be helpful.

Since I sell only used books, this is not something I have any expertise in. In general, we can’t do advertising for books, regular or audio.

Advertising not allowed in Books.

It is allowed for Kindle. I suspect the way the detail page is created will affect an audio book.

They are supposed to be in Books, which means no advertising. But probably some exist that aren’t actually under Books. That sort of mis-categorization was once so rampant as to almost be the norm. But not so much now.
