Was just going through my FBA listings and SIPP caught my eye. I didn’t change anything to SIPP. Amazon did that automatically.
Yikes, and thanks for the heads up @Amazon_Seller !
I’m going to pin this so that your fellow FBAers check their items, too.
Our people have had to keep an eye peeled on the “Ships in Product Packaging” Dashboard (@ https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/sipp-enrollment) for years, as part of our ‘Weekly Checklist,’ because Amazon’s automated mechanisms so-frequently enroll one or another of our brand-exclusive ASINs w/o our consent.
Some of those ASIN have had to be unenrolled multiple times.
Back when we were still doing FBA, we had a bunch of the products we were selling enrolled in SIPP without us doing so. It seemed like Amazon did it automatically too. We went through and unenrolled them, and when I checked on it again a week or so later, a bunch were re-enrolled in the program. I opened a case to find out what was going on and was told that SIPP enrollment is at the ASIN level, and another seller was enrolling them in SIPP, causing mine to be as well. One of the many reasons I am glad we don’t do FBA anymore.
Yikes!!!
Great, a new thing I have to check regularly because Amazon is determined to ensure all my items arrive damaged, broken, or unsaleable on return.
Dozens of my listings are enrolled. At least.
Well that makes zero sense. Especially because each Sellers’ stock should have their own FNSKUs already.
