Looked up the domain, private via godaddy
Web site has no contact details at all.
Smells like a guy that maybe even Edd and others told they have no case.
Wasn’t there some woman who protested in front of multiple Amazon HQ’s? Wonder how that turned out.
Wonder if these sellers tried arbitration? There is always a case to be made even if an account was suspended for a violation - amazon can’t hold inventory and money as far as arbitration goes iirc.
Arbitration, as you know, requires effort and time.
Being a total entitled Karen also requires time, but not as much effort and apparently people love to embarrass other people/businesses and feel better about themselves while doing it.
Discussing
Someone might want to inform the OP:
No Rutabaga, No Dogtamer.
FWIW, Amazon really does suck in communicating, managing their own database, and detecting seller-on-seller fraud.
I’ll link the website, but with the caution to consider clicking in incognito mode. I would not sign up for the newsletter; there’s no disclaimer about how your email address might be used or sold, etc.
Well the post has survived into the weekend, so the mods don’t care!
There’s no disputing that, of course, but I strongly suspect that the OP’s “Related Account” issue stems directly from engagement with this or that Global Selling Program (wittingly or not), and that the cure might be found in ensuring that each and every Region’s Marketplaces are fully onboarded.
I believe that those people caught in such a quandary - and there exists an overwhelming abundance of evidence to suggest that they are legion - need to hire an expert in such matters, such as our friend @oneida_books, if they cannot untangle the predicament on their own.
On that latter point, Amazon’s penchant for using a limited number of case-response templates would seem to complicate such entanglement, especially-so for those who aren’t old hands well-initiated into Amazon’s practices - it’s exceedingly difficult to ‘read between the lines’ if one isn’t aware of exactly where they are drawn.
Well…
At last a protest that we can get behind in spirit but is likely
going nowhere.
Maybe someday an organized protest will work but often with
an entity like this it takes lawyers, a lot of money and forever in time.
We checked out the website and read the “mission statement”.
Not a lot there we could disagree with and they are simply asking
for sign ups to gather support.
Who knows if they will get any more than the 7 sign ups we saw.
“No Rutabaga, No Dogtamer.”
I did let them know that you were boycotting over this egregious oversight.
They do apparently have a decent menu set up. If I was closer I would be up for free food!
"We do better than free hot dogs, we’re doing 5 guys with sautéed mushrooms and milkshakes. We’re going to have a lot of fun. We have no job to do so we have all the time in the world on our hands. "
Sounds expensive for people who are complaining about Amazon holding inventory and cash.
Occam’s Razor as well as Hanlon’s Razor lead me to the same conclusion. Amazon does not typically suspend accounts for no reason.
Many of those suspended are bad actors, others are too stupid to know how to perform to not look like a bad actor.
There is always a reason, but the suspended don’t like the reason, so it must be false!
Another thread on this today (duplicate thread)
…ahem
Orignal thread seems to still be there with the domain name now twice.
Yet someone hints at SAS and the mods are all over it! Lol
…ahem, ahem
You wernt suspended. You were nuked. Gigantic difference!
@Tried_Tested I choose my words carefully most of the time, which is why I used the word “Many” instead of “All”
This is why people read “the overwhelming majority” a lot when I make assertions.
