BPM/MM ship date glitch with Buy Shipping?

Since I use almost exclusively BPM, and don’t have any sort of automation, I’ve not encountered the issues many are seeing. But I had my own weird one.

Packed a book, went to buy shipping, and BPM was not an option (nor MM). But other USPS options were there, so not a bad address. Checked the category, and it was in Books, so should have those options.
But when I changed the “Ship Date” from today to tomorrow, suddenly I could buy BPM or MM! How wonky is that???

I had a weird event when shipping yesterday. BPM and MM did not appear. Ground Advantage cost too much.
So, recalling Nisha’s coment, I changed the date to one day later.
BPM and MM still did not appear. But GA became cheaper by more than a dollar.
