Buy Shipping Weight entry issue

Is anyone else seeing an issue in bulk buy shipping where the weight entry is cut off where you cannot see the weights entered? Chrome / Windows11.

I noticed – but did not investigate – a few threads on that topic on Amazon forum.

We noticed and got KJ_Amazon’s attention on NSFE. It has been going on since at least last Friday.

If you don’t have too many orders, the individual Buy Shipping on the Order Detail page still works fine for the weight inputs.

If you know your products shipping weight (like ours is 3oz), then you can click the arrows down until you get the error that there is no weight. After you get the error, you can click the up arrow one at a time to add in the weight. Doing it slowly will trigger the price to change.

If you know how to see the page coding, you can also check that to see what you have put in. The weight is there behind the arrows … it just isn’t showing because the toggle arrows are covering it up but does show up in the coding.

Bottom line … just use the individual Buy Shipping for now to be safe. Hopefully, Amazon will get the Bulk Shippng fixed soon.

... just a thought ...

We figure that the programing of it has something to do with the upcoming conversion of accounts to DD+7 as those start up this next week and first couple of weeks in March.

Not for me. I am seeing the narrowed boxes using individual buy shipping. The margin on the right side of the page seems wider than before, I assumed tweaks to the page were happening.

Ya … it was happening last Friday on individual in the morning but had corrected by the evening.

We just used the Bulk Buy Shipping. To check the weight entry, we highlighted the box, right clicked it, and then selected “inspect” which pulls up the line code for the box where we could verify the value in the input box was correct (even though it wasn’t visible on the page).

Made for a PITA Monday morning but we got it done.

I can add a hahahaha! I’ve been training my son-in-law to help mainly with all the shipping. He just called and asked about this VERY problem. Then he said “Why can’t Amazon just undo whatever code they just did to f’ this up?” I said they are aware and it’s never that simple. Welcome to Amazon, hang in there.

After entering size and clicking ‘apply’ the new dims are displayed in the Packaging box - that’s how I caught errors I couldn’t see in the boxes and so just watched for the result display before buying.

What about the weight? … we can’t see that yet …

I’m not having any trouble with seeing weight. I even went to 3 digits, aka over 100 lbs, and did not lose any visibility.

My experience in recent days is the same as @primetime. No problem with weight, but can see only 1 digit in dimensions.

We use FireFox and dimensions have shown but not the weight … even tried it on Chrome and had the same thing …

Edit Add …
Reporting on NSFE is that this issue is now fixed for both weight and dimensions.
