Ordered something (Style #401 Quan 18) and something else was shipped (Style #402 Quan 50)
OK, go through return process, “Wrong Item Sent”, “Replace with exact same item” (I have ordered this before, never an issue), Select drop off at UPS store, I am then prompted to select WHAT UPS STORE. Never been asked that before.
Not sure if this ties you to only this UPS store, but it never asked me this before.

Just pick the one that you normally use. We haven’t had to return an item often but both times we have in the last couple of years we had to select which UPS store we wanted to drop off at.
What we didn’t appreciate was an email that followed stating that if we didn’t send back the right item that our replacement for the order would be charged to us. We called and complained … stating that there wouldn’t have been a return if the right item had been sent. We wanted it on record that it was in fact the wrong item sent and that item was what was being sent back.

Noticed this recently as well.
The only thing I can think of is maybe not all UPS stores take Amazon returns anymore?
OR maybe they need to drop off point for some algorithm a genus came up with to make things worse?

This was how it was for a time, then they switched it to where you didn’t need to specify…haven’t returned in a bit but seems like a throwback
