"We’re unable to move inventory from AWD for FBA replenishment, regardless of Manual Replenishment setting. We sent stock to AWD, now our stock is stuck there? This is a risk of using AWD, everything is under Amazon control, we have a 3PL warehouse outside, never abandon 3PL completely.
Anyone experiencing the same issue?"
Looks like issues resolve but with kinks; sellers will have to hedge longer lead times
Not at all surprised to see this and there have been other threads just like this recently.
Sellers that use AWD for FBA turn over whatever was left in their control of their destiny to Amazon.
I firmly believe there is a hierarchy of who gets serviced when (likely who Amazon makes more $ off of), meaning 1 seller could be completely screwed to benefit another, and ultimately Amazon.
AWD will always be a black box in many ways and thus we are not interested in using it unless it’s forced upon us which would be a shame.
Well, when the Partner Team is gallivanting around on a tram (presumably in the environs of the dope-infested Seattle Spheres? ), what can be expected?
Speaking of gallivanting around, it will be interesting to note whether or not Amazon does more to promote the fee change which the FMT/CMT’s Bryce_Amazon specified in this 102324 post:
The ‘IXD-tweaking Initiative’ (link, SAS) continues to throw monkey-wrenches into even some of the best-laid plans of gearing up for the Holiday Sales Season, as is starkly evident by the numerous complaints in various 3P Seller-discussion venues far and wide - but I doubt that a 5¢/piece sop is what the impacted sellers are looking for…
Funny to see that west coast delay. We have a pallet destined for Stockton CA that was picked up by Amazon Freight on August 12th. Still no sign of a receipt. Just tracking updates that state it arrived at the carrier facility, over and over again. Almost daily.
We had shipped so much inventory, split 5 ways, that I didn’t even notice that one was outstanding until last week.
SAS manager got in touch with his people at FBA and the shipment now has a delivery date stamped on it for this Fri.
I’m sure the product will be awesome after sitting in a trailer for 2 months in the CA sun. FML
“They’re on top of it” in as much as who the hell knows how long this would have taken had we not had SAS.
Same thing with a shipment we had that was redirected that sat for 6 weeks. Worked with SAS, they worked with FBA, and the shipment was checked in within 36 hours.
It will be interesting to learn whether or not that actually happens AND deterioration from unplanned exposure to the elements doesn’t cause trouble when those goods reach the customer.
Yes, it was checked in a couple days later after being forced in by SAS. West Coast is jammed packed, including AWD from what I have heard and read. Amazon made the wise decision of doing some reconfiguring of their logistics in Q4. IMO, this is the reason for the really strict limit cuts that they made in Sept. Dec looks normal on capacity and Jan is more than ever. Just another day / week / month / year as an Amazon seller…
