I was thinking about putting this in the ‘Lighten Up’ section, but it is to good (hey, I’m easily amused some days) to not share what the rookies are saying on the NSFE –
What’s gotten me on the NSFE recently is the number of people who recently shipped stuff to FBA (you know, the season when EVERYONE is stocking up for Q4), and can’t understand why their stuff isn’t showing up 3-4 days after it was delivered.
You know the reason! Because AMAZON and their cohorts the Tiktok Gurus have misrepresented FBA as the way to make money(or become a millionaire) the easy way. Lay back and let AMAZON do the work for a price!!! HAH!!
Never done FBA but from what I read, it’s just as difficult as FBM-though in different ways- and only good for high-volume sellers. As a used books seller, would never attempt it though you do it successfully.
Haven’t the knack of what titles, beyond the NYT top 20, which we don’t sell, are quick sellers! Scout a title assuming will sell in 2-3 months; eventually sells in a year!!
