Maybe this is a warm up for them to buy USPS when it is put on the market, later this year.

" Stord | Powering Commerce for the World’s Best Brands"
I haven’t heard of more then ONE of the brands scrolling on their homepage.
Buying USPS, THAT’S HILARIOUS, @lake Let me know where to send the bill for my new keyboard, bahahahah!
For one… million… dollars!
Stord said the acquisition [of UPS’s Ware2Go] adds 2.5 million square feet to the company’s existing network of 13 facilities in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and the Netherlands and more than 70 partner sites worldwide…It scooped up Pitney Bowes’ e-commerce fulfillment business and freight and logistics platform ProPack in 2024.

Very true! But Stord is correct, that for many small ecommerce businesses, Amazon’s FBA logistics scale puts them at a disadvantage if they aren’t using it. Partnering with a company with even a little bit of Amazon’s coverage could mean being better positioned to diversify sales channels and not depend on Amazon so much.
Listen, Amazon needs to be knocked down a few pegs, I just feel these guys are a lotta hype with no history yet
Agree. I also personally don’t understand dropping out of Georgia Tech for a tech-bro “internship” either, but that does answer the question of how they raised so much venture capital so quickly… ![]()
Besides the UPS and Pitney-Bowes acquisitions, they have had a couple of others lately, too. But having capability and delivering Amazon-comparable results are two different things.
It will definitely be interesting to follow.
THIS is the way
