In Bryce’s defense, that type of response is far, far out of his/her bailiwick (as you, of course, knew just as well as the rest of do when you posed the plea).
What is not outside of one of his/her self-proclaimed bailiwicks, however, is the Mylar Bag Restrictions-Compliance Amabot.
Again in Bryce’s defense, I wouldn’t disagree with the position that the thread had mainly devolved into a rather contentious debate on the virtues, or lack thereof, of marijuana use - but were I active in the NSFE, I wouldn’t hesitate to tag Bryce over any other member of the FMT (or the AHT/AHS SMEs) when the poorly-configured Mylar Bag Restrictions-Compliance Amabot raises an ugly head* as it almost-certainly did yesterday (link, NSFE).

As was presciently predicted by our own @Tandi in the Headline-accompanying thread…with a tongue-in-cheek “…Whee!”
Ah! That must be it. She changed her email. That’s why I couldn’t verify her old orders. I don’t have vendors selling this product. Thanks for the answer.
All my repeat customers get a freebie coin/stamp included in their order. I have one customer in Hong Kong who repeat purchases large orders of coins up to approx. 500-600 dollar range. Sure I throw in something laying on my listing desk for orders like that.
That’s an excellent to reward loyal customers! How do you make the order system of Seller Central to alert you when an order from a repeat customer come?
I had a book that had been ordered on Monday morning, sat in pending status until Wednesday noon, and went into the canceled orders file. Title went back into active inventory.
An order came through Wednesday night for the same title. Under the buyer’s name, it said: See all two orders from this buyer.
When I clicked on the buyer’s name, it showed that it was the same individual who had placed the Monday order which had been cancelled.
I don’t remember ever seeing a buyer’s name attached to an order that didn’t go to unshipped status.
It has been that way for quite some time as we have seen this often. A buyer wants the item but for some reason decides to cancel the order as soon as it is placed. Maybe they want to check to make sure it is the correct item. Maybe they are not sure on the customized info provided (this happens with our products) and decided to cancel until they are sure.
At least it gives you insight that they wanted the item and came back to you so the order wasn’t lost … just delayed a few hours or days until the buyer sorts out their indecision.
Be very careful about adding freebie items. I used to do it when I had a book too inexpensive to sell about a similar topic to the one being purchased. I don’t do it anymore after another seller described a situation where a return was requested and approved. The buyer sent back the freebie book instead of the one purchased and received a full refund.
I am selling to very different buyers. I cater to stamp and coin collectors. In my 22 years of selling on the river I have never had that happen in fact I get messages from them thanking me for the freebie.
My customers are usually quite nice, and I get very few returns. After hearing what happened to another bookseller who was kind enough to send along a free book likely to be of interest to the customer, and get screwd for it, I can’t do that anymore.
Your number of repeat buyers is impressive! My repeat buyers are usually dropshippers.
I can’t imagine selling clothing or electronics online.
