Discoverability / organic sessions issue

We are having an issue with our organic sessions since 01August. The same happened us 01April and followed a stellar sales performance in both March and July.
It seems to be that the sales through ads % has increased to 75% which is crazy high for us and the ROAS has decreased. We can see that the sessions are similar to this time last year but the sales are much lower. We have bigger advertising budgets and we know that the adverts are working but organic has literally fallen off a cliff.
Any suggestions as to what it could be?
Bit of background, we have been working with VC for the last 12 years and have only switched to FBA in the last year which started off in mega sales but something dramatic has changed.
