There are five or six threads on the eBay forums. Is anyone else here seeing it?
Even though we have sold on eBay since 1999, we have not been active lately. Something I need to solve, and was going to open a thread here for help from other sellers.
However, back to your question… What is a eBay bell notification?

I had an order cancellation request email Monday that did not show up on the bell nor did the order itself. I normally do not pay much attention to the emails but guess I should now.

If you have import messages there will be a red bell and hovering over the bell will show the brief message

It’s been doing this for a few days. It’s pretty annoying but… eh, it’s Ebay…

Mine appear to be back to normal today. Of course, that is after our power went out for 1 1/2 hours…
Going to be an ‘interesting’ day but at least it didn’t toast the computer.

Mine too. 
I’ve gotten so used to Amazon reps, I’m amazed when I mention a problem and it gets fixed the next day.
( BTW, if any Amazon employees are reading this, please understand that the eBay reps are making you look bad. You gotta step up your game )

They would have to claw their way through so many layers of manglement on there to do that there would be no survivors.
I see no hope of Amazon ever improving their ‘support’ since it costs money to do so.
