I rarely need to request an eBay buyer to revise their feedback, but is this a new thing or have we always been limited to the number of feedback revision requests?
Wish I could help, but I’ve honestly not noticed that before. I’ve also not had a need to even look for a few years though. Mine are always good.
I’m in the same boat as oneida on this one. I haven’t needed a revision or removal for several years. The last one was from a buyer who was drunk shopping and I went back and forth with them for about 2 hours before they bought something.
They got it and didn’t remember buying it and didn’t like the color. Left some nasty feedback and eBay removed it immediately once I had them read the thread of messages.
MUCH easier to work with than Amazon for a lot of things.
Yes, and also no. Remember, this was several years ago, and much has changed. I’m not that confident you would have the same experience today.
Not new. Added some time between when I left Ebay in 2008 and returned in 2021.
I noted it on the seller hub when I came back.
There is also a difference in how these requests are handled for Top Ranked Sellers. Supposed to be easier.
I do not know because I have not had to ask for FB revision.
People also claim there is removal if an item was refunded by the seller once an Ebay Moneyback Guarantee claim was opened.
Yeah, the 5 revisions per 1,000 feedback received has been the case for a solid…I’d say 12-13 years at this point. They used to be unlimited back in 2006-2007 (and they really should go back to that policy).
There are quite a few instances in which they auto remove feedback…
