I am surprised the FTC has not addressed this with eBay. Generating fake tracking cannot be allowed to happen.
I mean in theory it’s a masked tracking number with physical data behind it. But I agree with you.
Ya but masked to the consumer and a flat lie are the same thing when there is no proof/transparency behind the data.
No wonder ebay’s a dead marketplace that keeps losing market share. One of the “pros” of the ebay platform is that they offer better seller protection than other platforms. The fact that’s even mentioned is a problem. Sellers don’t need protecting. If a seller gets pissed off, they’ll generally suck it up and deal with it. If a buyer gets pissed off, they’ll shop elsewhere. (And ebay buyers have left in droves). Letting sellers use false tracking information to win disputes? That’s just insane.
The company literally advertises itself as “we sell fraudulent tracking numbers” so how are they an approved carrier?
I am so stunned that this is even a thing. I certainly will never buy on eBay again (outside of investigative purposes) if this is still a thing.
I have done this raised price thing. It feels good… ![]()
Ebay’s forums have significant numbers of reports of orders showing Aquiline as the carrier not arriving.
And buyers are getting INR refunds.
Aquiline appears to be an indication of scammers, more often than being a cover for drop shipping.
There are a lot of really stupid buyers who should not be allowed to shop. Not online, not in person.
Well I would assert this is a platform problem. I don’t see how any consumer of any skill level would believe eBay would accept tracking information from a non carrier. Nobody purchases something on ebay thinking the delivery method would be “uncle Charlie”.
So wait…Aquiline is the “carrier” and the address for this carrier is a condo in UAE?
So Aquiline is a real carrier in the Middle East based in Dubai, but their agent for sourcing dropshippers here is a North Dakota LLC registered to Dubai.
They essentially use their status as overseas shipper, to generate fake tracking info for shady sellers in other countries, despite not shipping anything to an end recipient in the United States.
Ebay obviously turns a blind eye.
Update. HAHAHAHAHA.
So I was super bored being stuck home sick and emailed one of the sellers whose order shipped out today from Amazon
The best part is they refunded our order but the Amazon order has already shipped at our inflated price, meaning they are out the $40, and we get our own item shipped to ourselves minus FBA fees so about $29.
Now to wait for the other orders to ship…
They would rather be out $ then takes a metrics hit and have the income stream lost
So the two different eBay sellers are part of the same scamming drop shipper. I got the same exact message on the other order and cancelation.

That order was only 21$ as that was a simple test buy, but I will gladly take their money.
These were two different brands in the same rough category and two different sellers.
I am going to go buy a gift card to fund SAS with the money from this.
Time to up the ante with our more expensive items.

They are just using the same VA’s
Another BS thing about eBay…
Why do I need to wait 7 days to tell the world they used a fake tracking number.
I just bookmarked this. I am going to play with the eBay drop ship scrapers when I get some free time too.
Why should you have all the fun!
So far yesterday I made $70 and both items were delivered today via Amazon. Both orders were refunded by the sellers meaning I made all but amazon fees.

I jacked up the price on each of these items so I make at least $50 per unit except the last one at $34. I make more if they cancel when I call them out for the fake tracking and drop shipping and they refund after it ships.

Eff all these market scabs.
They better hurry up and cancel as the clock is ticking…
