Amazon Product Support allows your customers to reach your experts directly via your support URL and contact number. When customers can easily connect with your team, they’re more likely to get answers faster, avoid unnecessary product returns, and enjoy a smoother post-purchase experience.
In 2025, approximately 64% of customers who contacted support through Manufacturer Support did not return their product.
As part of our ongoing efforts to help you reduce returns, we identified publicly available > customer support information on your website. To reduce friction for customers who might otherwise spend time searching for support - which can increase the likelihood of returns - we will auto-enroll your eligible Products in Manufacturer Support 30 days after you receive this mail. What this means for you:
Opt-out: If you do not wish to be enrolled, email productsupport-enrollment @ amazon com, and we will not proceed. You can also opt-out after you are auto-enrolled using Product Support pages in Seller Central.
All your product categories, Eligible ASINs, will be auto enrolled across applicable stores.

So now they do want their customers to contact us? It turns out that is better customer service than trying to make it impossible to contact the 3rd party seller they purchased from?
[sarcarsm] I don’t believe it. This has to be wrong. [/sarcasm]
Ummm … our customer service phone number has always been on our customer facing Seller Profile and we have had customers contact us through it. However, we have had far more customers use the Amazon contact email system.
It would be interesting to know, if after this change, does the customer see your contact phone number when they click on the Get Product Support link on their orders?
Out of curiosity to check what contact details they had for me, I downloaded the file and they had a brand URL that was for a different brand than me. Interestingly enough, the URL, like mine, consisted of 3 words and the .com. The first 2 words which are a name were identical to mine but the third word completely different. Think Joe B Crafts but instead Joe B Stuff.
There was no “Customer Phone Number” listed in the spreadsheet. I seem to remember awhile back we were told our phone number would be displayed with our address in our seller profile but maybe I dreamed that because mine does not display.
At any rate this appears that AI has confused me with another brand who as far as I can tell, does not even sell on Amazon.
I also noted that when viewing a seller profile, the “Visit the XYZ Storefront” link does not lead to the actual storefront. This makes no sense to me since the Store link on detail pages DOES go to your store.
Go to wheel > Account Info >Store Info > Your Seller Profile
You will see the 4 North American marketplaces. Each one can be edited for email, phone, and reply to email. The only one we put our customer service number in was the US marketplace. If you edit the US marketplace, you can put in your customer service phone number. Your customer service phone number will then appear on your customer facing seller profile (when they click on your seller name on a product detail page).
On the product detail page, our brand link goes to a page showing all of our items but it is not a store front page. There are two types of links that can show up after Brand on the product detail page … [brand name link] & [brand store front link]. The [brand store front link] will say something like [Visit XYZ Store] while the [brand name link] will just show the brand name as a link.
