Did any of the other frequent flyers on the NSFE get invited to this new (?) pilot program? Not sure if I want to jump in since my tongue is already sore from having to bite it responding to the more experienced side. I will need stitches and anesthesia for the ‘New Seller’ part if I do it.

Any thoughts, other than “good luck, you’ll need it” and “are you out of your freaking mind”?

I’m going to guess it is a fairly limited group, similar to all of us guinea pigs that were in the conversion from the older (BETTER) Forum and had the ‘pleasure’ of being listed as frequent posters a week or so ago.

I got the ‘reminder’ today with a case #. I guess I must have ignored any earlier messages –

Who is to make a judgement on if your post is of “quality”? A bot?

or by likes? how many?

Surely a human can not read them, so AI then?

So if one provides the number of hours, how many mod hours can be cut from the pay while accepting your free “dedicated” hours?

Amazon knows our names and emails … already.
Amazon knows what topics we normally reply to … already.
Amazon knows what language we normally reply in … already.

Which gets back to … how much free time is anyone willing to give Amazon?

Meanwhile … Amazon is setting up for us to be free lenders of our money with DD+7 so they can make extra interest dollars on all of our money.

.. Do Amazon’s job for us for free. See these community managers are all well and nice, but most have never seen the inside of seller central so they can’t post meaningful content. That’s where we need you, our loyal posters, to do the job we all told Andy that AI would do, but can’t!

That questionnaire 100% reads like a job interview. You are about to sign up for an unpaid internship, and risk your seller account if Amazon doesn’t like your answers one day.

When NSFE started and the New Community and Handmade Community was set up, a select few of us were given permission to respond to posts in those threads whereas the rest of the forum could read but not respond. The mods couldn’t keep up or failed to respond in the beginning and those of us in beta recognized it and challenged the set up. Thus, a few of us got access to respond to New Community and Handmade Community posts.

Quality back then was simply providing accurate posts that helped solve the problem or set the person on the right path. Mods noticed and gave us the access. It wasn’t AI driven.

I have a sneaky suspicion (it’s Amazon) that the posts might be under more of a microscope by the MODS than what I already have on the standard side, so there is a bit more risk. If they want to make me play “nice” and throw out the same BS the MODS do about being “sorry you face this” I won’t last long if I do it.

For better or worse, I do get a fairly decent number of “likes” from Amazon. Since they don’t show names I’m guessing it is the MODS that are on the same thread I respond to.

Since many of those are for posts that say things the MODS are not likely permitted to say if they want a job there, they may be using the posters to reinforce what they WISH they could say.

What are you trying to say? … Amazon puts people in time out based on what they post on NSFE (or the prior OFSE)? … unheard of …

Yeah, I got slapped with a SECOND time out a couple weeks ago and I could not find what was removed from any of the recent posts.

At least with the first one I could find the removal and determine that telling Amazon to “BLEEP OFF” about more control was not considered ‘nice’. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::smiling_face_with_sunglasses::rofl::rofl::rofl:

If the NSFE was relevant to me, I would be offended by the gift card offer. It cheapens what what when given freely has value to poster and reader.

Goes to show how out of step I am with the modern world.

Your not that far out of step.

The OSFE had engagement FOR FREE, they detonated that and we all warned them, VERY LOUDLY.

Now they can’t figure out where all the knowledge went and why no one is engaging or helping. They had a golden goose with sellers actually helping other sellers, for free.
