I have a question about the extended returns period that I should probably know, but it’s always been murky to me.
I know buyers have 90 days to request a return, but once they open a request do they still just have 30 days to ship back the item?
As the post from @Lost_My_Marbles notes Amazon does put a THEORETICAL limit on it.
I usually wait about 45 days after the returns were approved before I ‘close’ any that have not come back. That gets things far enough out that Amazon will (hopefully) not make me accept anything after that.
As we all know Amazon has a very ‘fluid’ way of measuring time – 48 hours is a week or so, 2-3 weeks is a month or three, and so on.
