Fall 2023 Updates to the Amazon Appeal process - Received Intellectual Property Complaints

As some might know Amazon began changing the way we can respond within the AHD (Account Health Dash) towards the end of the year. This new method creates an endless (until I see more) loop of check boxes with no way to submit a written appeal.

I’ll try to upload the different areas as I have time, or come across then.

#3 - Order Id from Amazon

  • I believe is only good for reselling “Used” items, but there is likely some exceptions to Amazon.

1. LOA/LA

2. INVOICE

3. ORDER ID (from Amazon)

4. YOUR REGISTERED TRADEMARK NUMBER

Appeals have been moving more in this direction, they’ve been asking for an explanation less and less and just a document request with checkboxes confirming that your document has certain elements.

This makes sense, the bot aren’t interested in what you have to say, either you have a document or you don’t.

Thank you for this @oneida_books !

I followed the link, in case it detailed why RIPV appeals have instructions to “demonstrate the authenticity”.

It does not.

But it did have this link, which I personally have not seen before: Letter of Authorization. In fact, I found it so helpful, that I actually rated it “helpful” and provided feedback:

I considered copy/pasting the entire page here, for preservation’s sake, but then I decided that (a) why help the bad actors and (b) @Dogtamer probably has it filed, anyway.

So instead I’ll just post this little bit of final LOA info, as it might aid helpful Sellers going forward:

You know me well; I just linked it last week in this recent & related SAS thread:

I’ve archived that SHC page 3 separate times since 8Dec2022, because it has changed so frequently.

I strongly dislike the “new” Seller Central nav. Facing a lengthy list of links on every page means I miss the important ones. :woman_facepalming:
