FBA re-measure question

I just submitted my first FBA re-measure request. Is there any way to track progress or the outcome of the request? The measurements in the listing are way off but they haven’t changed in the 2 weeks since I submitted the request and I haven’t been notified of anything, either.

Thanks for your help!

I’m not sure of a way of tracking the progress other than seeing that your case is still waiting on Amazon action in your case log. In the past, I have had some remeasurement requests take a little while for them to complete, and they stated the reason was because the inventory was at an FC that couldn’t complete the request. I had to wait for them to transfer a unit to an FC that could.

Thank you! I submitted the request through a little app built into the documentation – it doesn’t create a support ticket and so far as I can tell, it just disperses into the universe as random ions.

But I gather from your post that you did hear something from Amazon at some point in the process?

Is this what you did? Just want to make sure in case you went another route. This is the way and we have used it in the past and it did open a case. That was a LONG time ago though so things may have changed.

Moved to Fulfillment by Amazon , fixed tags

Yes, that’s exactly what I used but it didn’t open a case. Maybe it didn’t submit correctly.

Thank you @papy, sorry about that.

No worries at all! Just logging for transparency–not any passive-aggressive fuss  This is (part of) what your SAS staff do. Happy to help!

Have you looked at your case log? (or were you expecting an email about the issue?)

Yes, there’s nothing in my case log about it. I’m now wondering if the app was broken when I made the request or if I stopped one screen short of submission because I was multi-tasking and not paying attention, which is a favorite trick of mine.

Ya you should have gotten a case. The request process is convoluted as you kind of have to ask twice clicking through.

No case then the request didn’t go through. Try again and confirm an opened case for the remeasurement request.

I worked through the re-measure process again and it behaved completely differently this time; it resulted in a case number, too. So either an Amazon glitch or pilot error.

Thanks for your help!
