If we pay Amazon for FBA, shouldn’t they be responsible for missed fulfillment promise? Why should be fund the refunds?
I believe they reimburse you for it, it takes 90 days for the reimbursement to hit though
Yes, but if your item is marked non-returnable you’re out of luck if it’s not actually returned.
This is when the buyer pays more for expedited shipping from FBA.
Amazon collected the $ and they are giving it back from their own pocket.
Here’s an example:
We will adjust your seller account accordingly. - This is just Amazon’s stupid sledge hammer bull ■■■■. It’s not true.
That would be 60 if it was a real reimbursement
Depends on the return reason - mostly they are all seller faulted to steal in non-returnable categories because they want to return and can’t.
ETA - Must be a rounding thing with the penny difference. Doesn’t actually matter though because it’s Amazon’s penny
Thank you. That makes sense.
The penny thing is because they’re refunding a cent off the tax.
Buyers lying in non-returnable categories is one thing I’ll give buyers slack for though, since they’re doing it because of an unreasonable policy by Amazon. Would prefer if they would just contact me for a refund instead of dinging the metrics, but very few people know to do that (and some sellers won’t issue a refund)
Agree 100%. And you’re correct about the penny. Didn’t think about that.
