I get that, but then it still means one per day gets through and might count against us say, if we were gone on say Thursday night through the weekend.
I’m going out of town for an overnight tomorrow night. I have my throttle set at 4 orders right now and I already have over that stacked up. Any new ones that come in by the time we leave will not be due to ship until Monday.
It’s just a matter of timing and NOT marking the ones I do ship as shipped until just before I leave.
If I set it at ‘2’ then every third order is an added day and then after 4 orders it’s another added day, and so on. It’s a little hassle but I can go away for two to three days if I set that number early enough before I plan on leaving.
I had a bunch like this from last week –
Order date
10/25/2023
4:56 PM PDT
Standard
Ship by date: Nov 1, 2023 to Nov 7, 2023
Deliver by date: Nov 3, 2023 to Nov 13, 2023
That order was shipped on 10/26 and

If I’m doing my ‘normal’ 10 to 20 orders a day I don’t really care if a couple sneak through and I get a late ship notice. It’s NOT going to affect me at all.
I tested this last week on a mix of FBA and FBM - the quantity on FBM changed, the FBA quantity did not. And it didn’t flip them. But you can just test it on a couple and double-check it.
I gave the links for the reports in the “Details” in my post above from an old 2018 OSFE post.
If you copy the columns as I mentioned in my post …
… everything should line up. However, if you want to use “quantitiy” you can.
I’ll say this though.
Having all SKU’s the same Qu. is a trigger for dropshipping to Amazon.
Reposting the “Details” in full (with minor update)- OSFE Post I made, but haven’t updated lately
(Change edit multiple listings bulk handling time shipping time time to ship lead time)
I posted this some time ago …
Edit Production Time (Handling Time) - Link no longer works but leaving it in … BUT I’ve updated the links since Amazon re-did the Help Pages
If you are a Pro Merchant Selling Plan you can do so by file upload …
File Upload :
US - Price & Quantity File located on this page
OR :
CA - Price & Quantity File located on this page
… and use the leadtime-to-ship Handling Time.
All that is needed is SKU and leadtime-to-ship Handling Time. Pretty sure you don’t need the add/delete column …
PREVIOUSLY you couldn’t change for Books … I suppose we can now though but it still says you have to ship within 2 days in the Prohibited seller activities and actions help page NOW IS UNDER Selling media products
2 Day Media Shipping
Sellers are required to ship all Books, Music, Video and DVD products within two business days of the date the order confirmation is made available to you. Shipping rates and service options are set by Amazon. For more information, see Shipping BMVD Products.
Using a report to do all your inventory I would :
-
Open in Excel
-
Copy the SKU column
-
Paste it into the Price & Quantity template
-
Copy the Price column
-
Paste it into the Price & Quantity template
-
Use only sku, price & handling-time to avoid issues with Quantity being overwritten against pending orders
(I get the same download URL showing whether US or CA)* Set the PT as needed -
US - Upload as Price & Quantity Feed … Under Inventory in Seller Central > Add Products via Upload
OR
CA - Upload as Price & Quantity Feed … Under Inventory in Seller Central > Add Products via Upload
I know, I know. I’m just freakin’ paranoid.
In my experience, any time you send Amazon inventory quantity data on a FBA SKU, it will cause it to change to FBM, but I haven’t tried it with this specific template.
Links to threads prior to the mass conversion to NSFE no longer work (just take you to the home page of NSFE).
We need to find the one(s) where the instructions on how to ask SS for your complete inventory could be downloaded … @Dogtamer was the one we remember giving the instructions … you would get more info back than the one we referred to (but it was at least a start).
{{{ we lost all of our bookmarks and links with beta NSFE }}}
“I know, I know. I’m just freakin’ paranoid.”
ALWAYS remember – It’s Amazon and you are NOT paranoid if someone actually IS out to get you…
May I ask if you’re thinking of my posts about downloading one’s CLRs (“Category Listing Reports” in 'Amazonese, aka “RFRs” for “Reverse Feeds Reports”) from the Inventory Reports Dashboard?
Yes
There’s a warning on the Amazon forum that bulk uploads will soon not work for changing handling time.
Sooo, will test the bulk upload for 1 SKU today.
bulk … 1 sku …
oxymoron ? ![]()
It’s a TEST.
Okay, so I tried it on one FBM SKU. It worked.
I tried it on one FBA SKU. MissMeliss was right. It changed my FBA to FBM, and production time did NOT change. Whew! Good thing I’m testing.
I tried it with oneida_books’s way with one SKU. It said I need a quantity.
CLR/RFR reports, when available to one’s SoA (“Selling on Amazon” aka 3P Seller aka Seller Central) Account, appear as a selection - titled “Category Listing Report” - in the drop-down menu invoked by clicking the “Select Report Type” ‘button’ web-page element on the Inventory Reports (link, Seller Central, default simplified URL) Dashboard.
Some time ago, shortly after the renaming of CLRs to RFRs (which was prompted by an extension of their functionality designed to facilitate editing & uploading of a single file, rather than having to first download other reports to find crucial Valid Value data), Amazon launched a pilot program whereby select SoA Accounts were waived of the requirement to first request the enabling of CLRs as a selection type on the Inventory Reports Dashboard.
That program is still in beta, but it remains active for us and other members of our Seller Community today, so it’s best to first check for the presence of that file type in the aforementioned drop-down selection menu.
If it is not available, the seller must resort to the prior method, of opening a Seller Support case specifically requesting that their Category Listing Reports be “enabled” for download from the Inventory Reports Dashboard.
We ourselves for many years have downloaded our CLRs @ least once very biz quarter, and prior to the launch of the aforementioned beta program, I would typically have our Logistics folk use this template to request their enabling for download:
In our experience, an affirmative response was quickly forthcoming (never had to wait as much as 24 hours for a reply to appear, and it usually arrived in a few or hours or less), and the enabling would persist for some time - years ago, for about a month, but after 2019 or so, for about a week.
I did it. Holding my breath. Please wish me luck. ![]()
ETA: It worked! Thank you, everyone, for holding my hand. ![]()
That’s so weird - when I tested it, it didn’t change. Did you use the price/quantity form and just change the quantity and handling time?
Yes. I used the price-quantity form. I changed the quantity and handling time.
Ok thanks - I’ll just use it when I’m ready to change them all. If they flip I can flip them back.
