I can’t create a removal order. It’s going to automatically change to FBA in 5 days. I don’t know what product they slapped that label on, but I don’t sell it as FBA. Maaaaaybe, it was FBA 2 years ago, but I long ago pulled it back and made it FBM. Even if it was lost in the warehouse for that long, I don’t want it sold to anyone because it’s probably pretty banged up by now.

Most likely found inventory. If your FBA offer for the product is not active, and you have your automatic disposal settings for FBA set for Amazon to get rid of it, that should happen in the future (within 7 days I believe).
FBA regularly finds things we have deleted years ago. We get the notification, and then the automatic unfulfillable notification on our normal day of the week for this (Thursdays). It often takes months for it to be actually tossed and we continue to get the same notification periodically until it actually happens.

The same is true for us, with the exception that since the goods we allow for sale on Amazon do not pose the same safety concerns prevalent in your product line’s category, we choose to have “Return” instead of “Dispose” for almost all of them.
