Firefox won't load SAS

I’ve not been able to load SellersAskSellers in Firefox for over 2 hours. I tried refreshing, rebooting, and opening up a new tab in a different window. Everything else works in Firefox, just not SAS.

SAS loads just fine in Chrome and Edge.

I haven’t been able to load SAS on Firefox for weeks. No problems on Chrome.

I’m currently in firefox (a version or two behind) writing this. What version are you both running?

I’m good with Firefox but last night some update caused me to re-login on all my regulars EXCEPT MakerPlace which normally makes me login daily.

OK, I stand corrected. I can load it on Firefox, it just takes a bit longer than it does on Chrome. I had not tried to load it in a while because starting a few weeks ago I couldn’t load it at all, it just kept giving me the line of blue dots. But it seems to be OK now. I’m running version 134.0.1 and Firefox says it’s up to date.

Like a second or two longer or 5-10 seconds longer?

Same here, it updated yesterday. All my windows and tabs disappeared, and that was the first time in a long time when “restore previous session” did not work.

I’m still getting the constant rotating circle for SAS, over 3 hours now.

We have used FireFox all along with no issues …
Version 134.0.1 (64 bit) … currently and is up to date
We do open FireFox in a private window with SAS and any Amazon page in a tab that we want to check generically.

Ours updated yesterday and came back up ok …

We always check Chrome, FireFox and Windows 11 updates on the same day and then do a restart (which we expect to loose all tabs doing it this way).

Generally … when we see FireFox struggling to load anything, it means it is time to check for both a FireFox update and Windows 11 update (especially for the big monthly Winndows 11). We also check the advance Windows 11 updates for new drivers and the optional Windows 11 updates.

Never had a problem loading SAS with Firefox.

Right up to date but I had Firefox updates two days in a row.

I suspect one should check what Firefox add-on you are using if the speed is off.

Update for us …
We recently had to replace a hard drive and reload the computer completely with Windows 11. The computer was going right along and we were happy … but then, it started to bog down.

We noticed that OneDrive had been activated with the new install of Windows 11 on the new hard drive. We never used OneDrive in the past and did some research. OneDrive has a past record of slowing down computers as it eats up memory.

We turned OneDrive off and our latency issues have immediately disappeared.

We noted this here as we were starting to have latency issues with FireFox, Chrome and other apps. The browsers were the most notable.

So if you are having issues with FireFox, we would suggest also to look at OneDrive (or any syncing type app) or any antivirus program like McAfree or Norton settings as they could be the issue and not FireFox in it’s self.

Footnote

… these are lessons from the past that seem to still be valid with today’s computers

I got my new laptop with Windows 11 three (?) years ago. Coming from Windows 8, I had no idea about One Drive until I got a notice from Microsoft telling me that One Drive was almost filled up, and do I want to buy more storage? So I went into One Drive and found that it had saved every little piece of garbage and GIFs. I deleted stuff for 3 hours and barely made a dent. Unfortunately I couldn’t delete when OneDrive was turned off, so I was accruing more garbage as I threw the old trash out. I turned OneDrive off and haven’t thought about it again until I saw your post.
