Ordered supplies, and they were delivered, but to the wrong site, clearly a residence. But look at the photo - it’s like the driver tried extra hard to AVOID photographing the house number, mailbox, any thing that might give a clue as to the actual location.
Please tell me that you got this sorted
No, it is NOT sorted, and the supplier is making this my problem, forcing me to wait for FedEx to do something or other before they send a replacement shipment. FedEx is playing dumb, saying “it was delivered at this time and date”, and not admitting that it was mis-delivered.
We have gotten replacement supplies from another vendor, so the question here is just how lousy this vendor is at dealing with a carrier-lost shipment. This was a pre-paid order, so they think they have my money, but they may suffer a charge-back for being so unresponsive to customer needs.
Only AFTER FedEx settled the claim with the vendor did I get a replacement shipment. This was not mission critical, just some more poly bubble bags for shipping, but do not buy from “Uboxes.com”, even if their prices seem good, or they are running a special.
Their idea of customer service is not what yours or mine is.
I have this conversation often with the team in our studio office. They get it. Others don’t.
This is a story you will tell a hundred times, and everyone will listen. I hear you and now know the vendor you called out for this.
“Do the right thing.” It will be the shot heard around the world. Our mission is to make the customer happy at all costs. Even when they are higher than the amount of profit we made. This has worked for 35 years.
