I started with Shopify just because it was more popular.
I like it. Only complain is that every modification is an app.
You can do a lot without the apps, I run my store and only pay $30/month for it. But it’s sometimes frustrating that every upgrade is an app.

I assume you saw, but in case not: They’re raising the prices (in 3 months for existing stores) to $39. I upgraded to annual to lock in the current 29/mo pricing. Saves quite a bit. 
Yes - and there are so many out there! I assume ASV will get around this with a custom-designed site. I’ve been happy with my template (Venue) and just have Judge .me, Crush Pics & Vela as paid apps.

Wait how do you get around using 3rd party apps?
For instance, if you want to use a funnel - there is an app - are you talking about custom integrations?
I was thinking more about design.
