If you want to take time off walmart without using your vacation days, you can change your inventory to 0. There’s no option for extended handling time like on amazon. Instructions below will not effect your wfs listings.

DOWNLOAD INVENTORY FILE

  1. Go to catalog filter by ‘seller fulfilled’ and ‘wfs eligible’

wait for page to load ALL inventory. if you don’t wait then your catalog won’t be complete (on my computer, I need to keep scrolling down in order for it to keep loading)

  1. on top right of page, click ‘download view’

(if you go to ‘analytics’ and download the inventory report, it will also include wfs and it will be a headache to select the correct fulfillment center ID, unless you notate wfs in your skus)

DOWNLOAD ‘INVENTORY UPDATE’ TEMPLATE

  1. catalog, then on top right of page click update items, update with file, show walmart templates, select ‘inventory file’

  1. copy sku from the inventory spreadsheet into template

  2. change quantity to 0

  3. select the fulfillment center ID. you can copy and paste it for each item. but dragging the plus symbol won’t work as it will give you an error. I’m not sure if the fulfillment is a mandatory field.

  4. save as xlsx

Upload (in the same place you downloaded the template) and hope you don’t get errors =)

CREATE SPREADSHEET FOR AFTER TIME AWAY

Copy the completed spreadsheet

change doc title to ‘correct inventory and x date’ to prevent uploading the wrong one

add correct inventory from original ‘download view’ file

save as xlsx

@doilyboutique444 is this the same if you don’t use WFS? IDK what Walmart calls “FBM” :sweat_smile:

No clue because I don’t do wfs or fba.

But here’s my guess.

I have not heard that you can do FBM and WFS/FBA on Walmart.

If its WFS, you’re not doing the work, they are.

So i would think it doesn’t affect their warehouses.

This is correct, FBA and WFS the inventory is there, the only way to remove it from being for sale is to create a removal order and have it sent back to you. Nor is there a good reason to want to stop these items from selling. This guide would only be for FBM items on Walmart.
