I was told by my closest PO that they will close at NOON today. They are normally open until 4:30.
There was a comment by @Picks_by_Nisha last year about this as well.

I have no idea if ALL are closing early but I am headed out now so I don’t end up in Amazon jail for late shipping.
Our USPS counter closed at 9:00am this morning 12/24/2025.
Think next year we will set the 24th as a personal holiday so that nothing has to ship out on that day.
Must need to punch in to get holiday pay and then punch out an hour or two later. Government work at the finest!
Actually… ours is covering for an even smaller office so comes in puts up the mail and then leaves to go do the smaller office at 9:00am and comes back at 12:30pm till 2:00pm.
We don’t know if they are coming back for the second half today
Good thing I set it as a holiday this year.
My wife was working at her store most of the day but I have Friday set. We are going to one of her sisters for Christmas day and then we are going directly for Christmas night at a hotel.
She scored a free room at one of our casino stops and we both need a day off to recover from the crazy season.
The new ‘personal vacation’ setting worked since I had an order come in at 4 minutes after midnight PST that didn’t have to ship until MONDAY!
Since I had about a dozen other orders I decided to play nice and shipped it out today. I’m sure that will come back to bite me…
