We closed (not deleted) a bunch of listings yesterday. I don’t really have to go 1 by 1 and relist those, do I?
How many listings do you have? Can you do this? filter by status (inactive) → show 250 results per page → click box to select all → click “select group action” → does “activate listing” show up?
Nope, that was the first thing I tried as they give you that option to close them in bulk but not relist.
I am pretty sure it can be done through file upload. I tried inventory loader but it still shows as closed. I am thinking there is a setting I’m missing there to actually activate them.
I had closed everything in bulk once, and then I reactivated the same way. I surely did not go through each one.
If FBM, make sure you provide a quantity for each one when uploading.
I don’t remember this being an option anytime recently. I even saw a post on the NSFE from 4 years ago with someone asking the same thing and they couldn’t check the boxes and relist in bulk, either.
I recommend the Inventory Loader and “a” for the Add-Delete column (I)
Direct link to the file on Amazon …
I’d test an upload on a single SKU to see what you can get by with. Try only columns A & I first.
Thanks oneida, didn’t even remember seeing the add-delete column. Will check this and report back.
Just curious if this ended up working or not
Will check in the next couple days, haven’t gotten around to doing this yet.
Whenever you can, we are eager ![]()
I’ll be very surprised if it doesn’t …
Hmm…just doing some initial searching here. That worksheet you linked to isn’t the same as the Inventory Loader one when you go to manage inventory. The worksheet we originally filled out was that one on the Amazon site and it didn’t have an add column like the one you linked to. Is your’s an old one? Will try this one tomorrow and report back.
UPDATE: No, did not work. It says it was successfully uploaded but it still shows closed in my inventory.

UPDATE 2: I changed the quantity in stock just to check if anything at all was updating and it did indeed update the quantity but it still doesn’t actually relist it.
Tested myself …
Uploaded file …
Waited … And dang … it no longer works.
I can’t imagine why Amazon would stop this from working. I’ve used it plenty of times in the past.
I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but in the future, just set your quantities to 0. Don’t close the listings so this doesn’t happen again.
Wouldn’t have stopped the bot from scanning the listings. They needed to be closed.
Not sure just what you were hoping to avoid but closing a listing will not prevent trouble.
Deleting usually will.
I often recommend regularly (like every week or ten days) deleting all inactive listings. Sellers have been suspended due to inactive listings – sometimes for something legitimate listed long ago and sold. Sometime much later the page was hijacked and changed to something prohibited.
@Jenga244 just checking in? Did you find another way?
Nope….
