How did you make out with the extended returns period?

For the first year ever we did not have any returns from the extended return period.

We still have the same stupid returns.

“the item does not have heavy duty cloth” actual bullet point "item is made from nylon with a heavy duty zipper

“I wanted a side clip and got a loop this is useless” Customer purchased " holster (belt loop)" and had to conciously pick belt loop.

Significantly lower refund/return rate in January than in December. Can’t complain

What has completely died for me is seller feedback, even though I have a healthy growth.
In 2024 I had 99, last year 53, so far this year 2

I didn’t have too many returns, probably because no sales.

My product is seasonal, but not holiday related so the extended return period isn’t as much of an issue for me as other pain points.

A buyer opened a chargeback last week because they dropped off the item to UPS at 10am and didn’t see their refund by noon.

seller feedback is dead. If I get 1 feedback per year it’s a lot. I have gone 18 months at one point without anything.

Feedback and reviews are way down the last few months. Noticed that too. About -50%

It’s Not over till its over…

Just yesterday we got notice on a $99.95 order that was refunded on February 3rd 2026. They bought the item on November 14th 2025. This rental was for 81 days!

And I thought rental season was over. To make it sting, Amazon applied it 10 hours before our
bi-weekly payout.

It’s not even a rental. It’s a borrow. Rentals cost money; borrowing is free.

It’s not even borrowing. This costs me money. Lending my stuff to people would be cheaper.

We have found the cheapest way is when a local person, group or organization comes and asks us for work we provide it for free. Day 1, “Happy to help, what can we do for you, no charge.”

At least then when we are done, we don’t own it, with any obligation to support it. Planning to make no money, is simpler than playing Russian Roulette for 100 days.
