How long do we have until the FBA Delivery window is not changable?

Hi,

Amazon started to make FBA inbound “missed delivery window” an issue. Sellers have to acknowledge the problem (see the screenshot below). One bullet point says that we could change the delivery window (see pink arrow). I wonder how much after the shipment is created that Amazon would still allow us to change delivery windows? Any ideas? Thanks.

Wtf is this nonsense?

Is this only for non-partnered carriers? Is this going to be an issue for partnered carriers? I know they make you select an expected date now, but they’re giving out problems for it now?

Yes, there was a News Headline about this some years back, in the immediate wake of the COVID-19 Crisis scare.

May I ask if AWD or AGL was involved for this FBA Inbound Shipment?

It can be edited in the Send to Amazon workflow before the first day it was expected when you set it up.

Not sure. I’ve got this from a non-partnered carrier. My shipments have arrived outside of the delivery window since Amazon started asking us to enter expected delivery date. However this is the first shipment that they made me acknowledge the issue.

Hi Dogtamer! Good to see you here again  What are AWD (sounds like All Wheel Drive but I’m sure it’s not) and AGL?

Yes.

Amazon Global Logistics (Containers from China)
Amazon Warehousing and Distribution (FBA storage), think of it like pre-FBA warehouse bulk storage service with lower fees.

Thank you!!! I have no idea that it could be edited until the first day of the delivery window. This is great but more work for us to do (tracking and keeping the delivery window accurate) :expressionless: I guess it’s always better to enter the delivery window far away. So we would always have enough time to edit it later, right?

As @VTR pointed out, It is only for partnered-carriers indeed. See communication they recently sent.
