How to set employee account with limited access

Hello fellow sellers, how do I set up employee account for them to work on sending just FBA shipments( printing barcodes and UPS shipping labels only). I could block everything except FBA dashboard page. How can I block access to dashboard? Thanks.

You may not be able to give permissions to some FBA processes like printing barcodes without also granting access to the FBA dashboard.

Looks like you can turn off the dashboard.
We don’t use FBA so I have it all turned off.

Interesting, this is not what my permissions list looks like.
I checked both the top level and lower level users, and while they have different options, neither has the options shown in your screenshot. Most relevant is the fact that I do not have the FBA dashboard line at all.

Interestingly, I’m finding that your link is now redirecting to https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/mergeduserpermissions#/user-management/users, and the previous functionalities shown in your 2nd screenshot have been deprecated in favor of a more cumbersome design - including a request to verify the identity of the Owner/Primary Account Manager…which apparently cannot be accomplished w/o using an alternate email address.

It appears that Amazon is tinkering again, dagummit, and not for the better: @ present, this revamp affords no visible way to see the settings for the primary account.

Is

Better?

Unfortunately, no; that’s the simplified version of the URL we’ve been using ever since you first brought it to my attention back in 2017, and it redirects to to the new design.

Hmmm… that’s the screen I see…

Yep, that’s what we’ve seen for years, w/ the exception of a link to Global Accounts being included over the last 3 or 4 (I’d have to dig into the archives to pinpoint when that 1st appeared).

As of today (possibly as long ago as Friday afternoon, 010325, as we only check Permissions once a week, on Friday mornings), User Permissions History no longer appears in the drop-down menu:

It’s long been rather unusual for us to be among the first to see this or that modification to the Seller Central Dashboard, so maybe it was our turn to get an early rollout.

Still shows in ours …

And this morning, 010925, things appear to be back to normal:

All previous functionalities that were inaccessible yesterday have been restored, although we’re seeing new URLs for some of the dashboards.

I’m not sure if yesterday’s experience was merely yet another all-too frequent Amaglitch, or a harbinger of things to come - but, for now, I’ve moved the weekly User Permissions check from the Weekly to the Daily CheckList so our people can keep a close eye peeled…

I neglected to mention that one of the reasons why I’m unclear on whether or not our experience was an Amaglitch or a bellwether is the fact that there was a four-step “Take the Tour” offering showing on the previously-redirected User Dashboard on 010825, to wit:
