Here’s our lifetime view (below). Just to serve as an example of what can happen when you turn your advertising over to an expert.

WITH THAT SAID…. I also turned this same person onto the business I eventually ended up closing, and it didn’t work, so there’s that. There are no guarantees in life, and not everything can, or is worth saving….

Our business is successful because of organic rank and repeat business. PPC only represents 25% of our sales. The balance is organic - 50% reorders / 50% organic rank based sales.

This same person is on our Walmart advertising as well and we are doing slightly better than break even there coming up on year 3. 80/20 paid/organic sales there, which is insane. Maybe if Walmart really wanted to grow their marketplace, they would ease the eff up on the pay to play and stick organic 1 before page 2….

Translation - this ain’t easy, but I know you all know this already.

Very true, and toss in whether or not a product is a consumable or one-time purchase–but still, it is clear that your staffer has the skills to make it work well when working well is possible, and that’s why you trust them. Even when the news is bad.
