Probably going to start working with a brand that has transparency. Anyone print in house? If so, do you use the recommended printer Zebra ZT230? Or something else?
Bumping for the techies amongst us to weigh in on printing hardware…
If it’s just their fancy QR code, any thermal with decent resolution should be fine. 200/300 “DPI” (is it even really DPI if it’s not dots?) is probably fine.
So, if you guys don’t print yourselves, what service do you use? I know there’s a bunch out there – who percolates to the top?

I apologize for the lack of response. We do much of our print in-house. There are some outsource providers we use but they’re chiefly local providers - and I don’t know that we’ve ever done any serialized labeling with them like this would require.
Looks like we’re going to use the software Bartender probably along with buying the thermal printer off the current people.
Follow up in case anyone cares…
bought a Zebra ZD621T with ethernet port 300dpi
generating transparency codes to print in-house (in manage products settings)
Amazon gives you a PDF of the label(s) and a CSV with the list of codes.
We print the PDF and shazam we’re off and running.
Still working out the kinks in the warehouse, but that’s to be expected.
Are you stickering yourself? How are you tracking, or is that what you’re still figuring out?
Yes, stickering at warehouse. And every FBM order has to have the transparency code scanned. Just working out the best flow.
