In my experience, the Canadian plaform sees far far far fewer scammers than the USA, but they are catching on. I wonder if this buyer still has an account with Amazon ![]()
That’s my experience, as well.
When is the post office, ups, etc…gonna be held responsible. Sorry, bad mood about USPS this season. They’ve really been bad.
This post is a bit off topic. I’m making it to aid my fellow sellers who may have gotten here by searching.
I’ve encountered a group of young fraudsters in Canada, in particular in the city of Burnaby - a suburb of Vancouver. They specialize in comic books, fantasy and SF, Pokemon cards and other media of similar subjects.
Apparently they originally committed simple fraud with the adolescent goal of getting free stuff. They have graduated to fraudulent acquisition with the goal of selling.
I suspect that the powers that be here would not want me naming specific people. ( You can find those names on sites that list bad buyers ) But I think I can list partial addresses.
I recommend being wary when sending to any address on Griffiths Ave, Rumble St, or Imperial St in Burnaby, especially if the order is for the subjects listed above.
Add ‘Maywood St’ to that list.
Thanks, always good to get a heads up to avoid fraud.
