I can. I can wait. I can wait a really long time. I could wait months before dealing with Tuesday this week.

Wow, this hits a bit close to home! I just checked my mail; had a letter from the state addressed to me.
Until today, I didn’t even know there was a state Division of Aging Services. :grimacing:

It’s even WORSE in WI –
“In Wisconsin, aging services are primarily administered by the Bureau of Aging and Disability Resources (BADR) within the Department of Health Services (DHS).”

They couldn’t just leave it alone at ‘aging.’

This should probably be in the book seller section but —

Frankly, 13,400 leagues sounds pretty good. That’s about as far as I made it through the book before giving up, as by that point it appeared that Verne was more interested in showing his knowledge of geography and odd theories about it, than with actually telling a story.

And of course, “Catch 14 1/2” is the story of the guy trying to escape Hogwarts, but keeps messing up trying to prove he’s not magical by using magi.

Keep em’ coming @dwat0870 !

This is why I come to “Lighten Up!”

On Vacation with the Mockingbirds

So we were on our once in a 7 year holiday, this time in Hawaii (don’t cry for us, we have run our company for 35 years, you all know how hard it is to get away. Even with a good team. We travel and stay first class for 6 full days.)

In our rental Jeep, just after traversing the field below the volcano we came across these signs “WARNING LIVE ORDANANCE MAY BE OVERHEAD” it was a military bombing range.

No problem!?

Then we head down near the ocean, on a back road I hit a Mockingbird, “SMACK” into the windshield, the entire rest of the trip, whenever we saw them, I heard, “You killed my friend, You killed my friend,” Think Edgar Allan Poe or Twilight Zone.

So I want to tell you something that happened to me tonight, and ask a question about it:

Scrolling through YouTube, I ran across a video of Cyndi Lauper on the Graham Norton Show, and seeing a quick glance at the thumbnail where she has her hair dyed pale green, my first reaction that it was Molly Sugden.
How old does that make me sound?

Follow up question:
How old does it make YOU sound if you know what I’m talking about? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
