Manage All Inventory page

The new so called better Manage All Inventory page is certainly NOT working for me. Just changing a price is a long experience. In fact I can not see the number of items at a glance that I could see before. New stuff just provides a very bigger page for no good reason. For me, a small third party seller of mostly books today after Amazon gated over 800 items I used to sell, the changes are NOT helpful one bit. In fact they are terrible time wasters for someone who uses the feature to mainly check on and change prices. Thanks for Nothing Amazon! Horrible!

Yep, the new page reinforces what I’ve said for year, regarding programmer pay.

They are paid by the amount of wasted space on a page.
And get bonuses for every extra mouse-click required.

for example, old page: Make change, click “Save”
New page: make change, press “Enter” so that the “Save” button appears so you can press it. Why the extra click? And that’s one of the minor things.

This plus the changes to the Add a Product page have, through several iterations, I estimate cut my speed of listing in half, if not more. It’s sad.

UX/UI design training emphasizes making a user experience that is simple, efficient, and intuitive.

So I don’t think Amazon is pulling top tier UX designers.

I’ve heard rumors that they are hiring chimpanzees to do their programming.

Yep … just rumors because, if chimpanzees were writing programing, the programs would work.

They could be hiring dumb chimpanzees…

That would explain everything.

No words to describe my hatred of this experience

This is one of the worst Fixing Things That Are Not Broken I’ve experienced since 2002

It’s increased my processing/admin time by 25% & is so unworkable

Their goal is to have a single page dashboard for 10+ different inv mgmt processes with heavy emphasis on All Things FBA/Storage Capacity

I ran 8 processes on the old M.I.

with searching inv to build shipments & manual repricing most used actions

Selling inventory needs to have efficient processes, not train wreck on fire level time consuming complicated
