Has any 3P here looked into this or participating? The article mentions Best Buy’s previous 3P US marketplace that didn’t work out and how they have used their successful Canadian 3P marketplace to inform this next US attempt, so I’m curious how that has changed for Sellers.
Sounds a lot like the Target announcement a few months back. So these two major retailers are making it clear that they don’t want to force their buyers into the Amz/Walmart sewer of “Should I buy this crap product from seller XVLYOUPNT or seller JOYKXRMMD?”
I like it! I wish them great success, and I hope that all the good 3P sellers from SAS --those who sell their types of products – can get on board.
