wow. So, I sold one book that I owned that was advertised and featured by someone else in the “sale”. I got a return request an hour after it arrived to the “customer” ( likely a competitor who is selling the same book ), who claimed that it was very dirty, water stained, etc, etc. Lies. AND ALSO I got a LOUD DING on my computer along with this return request. How did that happen? And of course, I sent a nice note apologizing for the book and asked for either a photo or a return of it so I can offer a refund. And of course, Amazon will likely issue a full refund to the customer. But how did the LOUD DING happen? Or was this a bizarre unrelated event? I’m a hair away from quitting Amazon and moving to EBAY.
Probably unrelated … check your windows notifications … we get those every so often (would depend on some of your settings and programs / apps).
I agree with Marbles that it’s likely a coincidence, but if you have virus protection running, it might have picked up on a word in the subject line.
Thanks ! Probably a bizarre coincidence, as you both stated. (But hey, you can’t be too paranoid these days with all the stunts from the big “A”, right?)
