Need Help Finding where to find Seller Identity Verification Process?

Amazon deactivated my account for dormancy. Don’t know they did that. I’m in the account every day, Anyway, I re-entered my credit card like they asked and they liked that. Then they want me to reverfiy my informaton. They sent me the instructions on how to do that. However, the page they send me to has no mention of anywhere on the page or links to Seller Identity Verification on it. So where do I find the link?

Here is the page they sent me to:

Thanks, Artie

It seems they have pulled the page they used in the beginning.

Go to your Account Page and click Business Information in the left menu. Then go thru each of the items under Business Information …

Originally, Amazon was doing the new yearly verification on the Account Health page. You might want to check there also.

Ok, I went though all the business stuff. There was no link for any of them. Do I just retype something and save it? I also checked the Account Health page. It just gives me this for most anything looking at the store:

Click that Continue in the red box.

When was your last sale?

Dormancy is based on that

It just takes me to my Charge Methods. Should I try changing my charge card again?

I had sale in June and 1 in April.

Does it show there is an issue with the credit card?
If you do, make sure the new one is one that Amazon accepts.

It can take 48+ hours for Amazon to completely “like” a new charge method. When did you update your card info?
Did you also update it on the buyer side of the account?

If you had a sale in june it seems a little soon for them to flag you as dormant already. But it’s certainly possible they tightened the timeframe

No, it didn’t. But the very 1st message asked me to complete the credit card verification process. Which I did by re-entering my credit card info. It’s Mastercard. This was 7-28. On 7-30 the next email is the one for seller Verification which I have above. They sent me 3 requests on 7-30, 1 on 7-31, 2 -n 8-4, and 2 today 8-5.

I believe I changed it on the 28th, when I received the 1st email. No I did not update the buyer side. I haven’t been in there since 2018. But I will do that.

I am active again. I checked the buyer side and my credt card was there. Went and re-added it on the seller side and it took it. About 10 minutes later i was live and can get at everything.

Thanks for everybody’s help. I appreciate the time you took to help.

That was unnecessarily stressful, Amazon :expressionless:

They then sent me a letter in Portuguese saying the hold time for my money would be 7 days after it was delivered. lol And then I get a letter from them saying to re-validate my DL, business license and credit card statement. I’ll do that when I get home from work.

Hesitant as I am to ask, because of our friend @Tried_Tested’s ongoing travails with Amazon over the Brazilian Marketplace (link, SAS), may I ask if you see the Amazon.com.br Marketplace listed as option for any portion of your SoA (‘Amazonese’ for “Selling on Amazon” aka 3P Seller aka Seller Central) Account?

If so, that could be why you got a reply in Portuguese - but I wouldn’t try to do anything about it if you haven’t had a chance to digest the highlights from that ever-troubling thread.

Amazon: Hold my beer, we can make it even more stressful!

It is most likely then about the Brazilian platform.

Yes, I do have Brazil in my list but I put it on vacation as soon as it came in.

I’ve sent everything they asked for in and supposedly I will know by the 19th of this month if it is reactivated the rest of the way.

Thanks everyone for your help.
