As I’ve been known to mention a time or two or more before, it’s part of my job description to keep a keen peeled on what Amazon rolls down the pike.
In regard to News Headlines, I record the Title, the News Headline ID (“QVRWUERLSUtYMERFUiNHVDU1UjVRS0xES04zVkhH” in this particular case), the URL (‘broken’ above so as to render it ‘clickable’ in the Discourse Platform supporting the SAS Forum), and the full-text of what Amazon originally publishes in these News Headlines (as quoted above).
Among the several reasons why I do this is the fact that the seasoned & savvy forum veterans - upon whose might shoulders I still, today, stand - long ago wised me up to the fact that Amazon’s Editorial Team tends to be rather slip-shod in publishing information.
In my experience, the initial post of the Headline-accompanying NSFE discussion(s) usually tacks closely along the same course, and simply reproduces the full text of the published News Headline.
Following said sage’s advice has given me more than one leg-up when deviances occur, as has now happened with the full text of the initial post of the afore-linked NSFE discussion (emphasis mine):
Because I’ve seen more than a mere few posts suggesting that the new requirements went into effect last month, in August - in the NSFE and related biz-discussion venues alike - I’m fairly certain that Silo-manglement has yet again come into play.
Some say “God Is In The Details”; some say “The Devil Is In The Details.”
That’s not a philosophical question I’m qualified to parse, @ least not from where I presently sit upon this mortal coil.
Still, I do believe strongly in something learned @ the feet of me Elders:
