As of July 8, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) requires electronic submission of Certificates of Compliance for imported consumer products subject to a mandatory CPSC safety rule.What you need to know
The eFiling requirement applies to products entering the U.S. for consumption or warehousing. It also applies to products admitted from Foreign Trade Zones beginning January 8, 2027.
Businesses importing covered products are responsible for:
Electronically submitting the applicable General Certificate of Conformity or Children’s Product Certificate to U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the time of import
Serving as the Importer or designating an appropriate Importer responsible for filing the required certificates
Complying with all applicable CPSC laws and regulations
Walmart will not serve as the importer for Marketplace items.What you need to do
We recommend that you:
Review the requirements in 16 CFR Part 1110.
Identify which of your products are subject to CPSC regulations using the CPSC Regulatory Robot.
Maintain current testing and certification documentation.
Coordinate electronic filing for covered products imported into the U.S.

I’ve expected this to be coming since late May of this year, when I first learned of the new requirement - mainly, but not entirely, by running across the Amazon SHC page “File CPSC certificates electronically starting July 8, 2026” (link, Seller Central).
Amazon also published the 070826 News Headline “Webinars: Navigate CPSC E-Filing changes and AGL cross-border options” @ https: //sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-news/articles/QVRWUERLSUtYMERFUiNHVjZXUlRTVUFEVDk3UVFT, so I’m a bit surprised that it’s taken Walmart this long to send these messages.
