Just in case you (like me) haven’t noticed or seen the new “Customers” tab(?) in Seller Central–or have bookmarks directly to the affected pages–Voice of the Customer, Feedback Manager, and Buyer-Seller Messages have all been collected into it.
I understand the organization. I don’t understand why it was needed, but hey, this Seller Central change does as little damage as possible to my routine or business, so…whatever.
Interesting move in the menu …
Moving the Voice of the Customer in line with Feedback, Customer Review and Messages …
Wonder if what that means for the Voice of the Customer? … Does it make it more or less important now?
At this point, my best guess is pegged upon a determination of whether or not this initiative (which, as has for years been par for the course, we ourselves have not seen yet) removes the supposedly ‘beta’ status for the VOTC functionalities, as measured by various Seller Central reporting accesses.
Until I can crunch some numbers, I’m somewhat akin to the fabled Diogenes - but decidedly unlike, there, in being hampered with a need for blundering in the dark with naught but a bare candle.
Transparency has never been one of Amazon’s particularly-strong suits.
The Feedback Manager link is missing from my Performance menu. I can still get to it from a SC search. Maybe they are phasing it out lol. It would be fine with me. Reviews provide enough false defamation.
It’s still under “Performance” for us as well, but I’ve seen a screenshot indicating that when the “Customers” tab is added, it appears at the very bottom of the list in the ‘hamburger menu’ of the Seller Central Dashboard.
If past history is any indicator of future performance, I’ll not be surprised is we ourselves are among the last on the list to be ‘Upgraded’ with this newest tweaking of the Seller Central Dashboard.
That particular paradigm has never particularly bothered me, because it’s more than once led to a situation where we’ve inadvertently dodged a bullet or two that some have not.
