Get ready for the ultimate March Madness on the Amazon Seller Forums!
Thanks fer nuthin, Screeching Harpy.
Should we respond to that thread with our bracket picks and other basketball banter?
Hereās the game plan:
1. Create new posts: Share your tips, success stories, and the challenges youāve overcome as youāve built your e-commerce business. Letās fill the forums with amazing content!
2. Vote and Comment: Be the real MVP by not only posting but also showing some love to your fellow sellers. Letās build each other up!
3. Answer Questions: Are you an expert in your field? An expert in a certain function of selling on Amazon? Help others by answering their questions and letās make March the month of sharing knowledge!
Isnāt all of this, just, already what should be happening, on literally any forum?
The only thing I donāt see the CMTs asking for are posts about problems and Amazon complaints.
Sidebar: Old Danny_Amazon was a good guy and a real person. They said new Danny_Amazon was not the same person. I would hope they would be using old Danny better than cheerleading a dying behemoth that they intentionally destroyed.
At the time of my reply here, to your post - four hours after this Announcement was posted (and pinned) over in the NSFE - itās garnered a grand total of 45 views.
Is it really any wonder why the SAS membership continues to grow in leaps and bounds?
Methinks not.
ETA:
Danny just updated the original post with this addition as a closing sentence:
Hey stranger!
Welcome home, my friend!
Iāve been waiting for you and other friends from the seasoned and savvy forum veterans cohort of your sterling caliber to come aboard to the SAS (aka āBSFEā for BEST Seller Forums Experience), so Iām quite pleased that you found us congregating here.
P.S. - It goes without saying that Iām still gonna be displeased every time your beloved Packers beat Da 'Boys like a drum, of course.
Yeah I feel I was on here at first when they changed the Amazon forum over but there just wasnāt a lot of traffic here yet. Glad Iām back!
I donāt participate on the new Amazon forum but itās sad how much of a graveyard itās becomeā¦ā¦what a waste.
And, yes, beating the Boys made my year! LOL.
"March Madness"?
As in the March Hare and the Mad Hatter?
But that isnāt really the Amazon way - they are more āOff With Their Heads!ā toward sellers:
Yepper, and in the two minutes since you made this post, the view count has risen to 237.
Danny_Amazon says:
āā¦ the ultimate March Madness on the Amazon Seller Forums.ā
But āMarch Madnessā is copyrighted by the NCAA. Does Amazon care about infringement when they do it? We will seeā¦
Oh, snap!
The answer to this oh-so-pertinent question posed by one of the best and brightest of the seasoned & savvy forum vets, should it be forthcoming, will be interesting:
I expect a POA from Amazon. This is not acceptable.
After I get it, I may not respond to further messages on the subject.
Threads merged and a few posts deleted, not because they were bad posts, but because they were asking for the threads to be merged
Maybe we should sponsor the āDanny of Amazon Infringement Tournamentā, in which entrants would compete by posting the most egregious infringement of copyright.
Entering would not be difficult, as the NFFE is littered with solid examples that competitors could use. ( And, of course, it would not matter that someone else wrote it )
Amazon surely would not object to our borrowing their name for this competition, nor could their hapless employee.
I mean we could do brackets, mods.
Rank each mod by how many helpful versus posts.
The ultimate winner gets a t-shirt! No wait, thatās goon bad in the past
- I used to do this, but you trashed the forum over our objections and now I refuse.
